Terms of Use
Rules and responsibilities for using JobFrame.
1. Acceptance
By using JobFrame or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
2. Purpose
JobFrame is a business productivity tool for creating and organizing estimates, job records, pricing, photos, signatures, receipts, templates, customer information, and backups.
3. Not legal, tax, or accounting advice
JobFrame does not provide legal, tax, accounting, licensing, pricing, code-compliance, or regulatory advice. Document labels, suggested workflows, export mappings, consent fields, and calculations do not replace professional advice or the user's responsibility to comply with applicable laws and contracts.
4. User responsibility for records
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information entered into JobFrame, including customer details, descriptions, prices, measurements, estimate terms, expiration dates, tax treatment, payment status, signatures, permissions, and internal notes.
5. Customer information and permissions
You must have an appropriate business reason and legal basis for storing customer information. You are responsible for presenting clear disclosures, separating transactional receipt delivery from promotional communications, honoring opt-outs and revocations, and obtaining permission before using customer photos or information in advertising or social media.
6. Estimates and receipts
You are responsible for reviewing every estimate and receipt before delivery. JobFrame cannot determine whether a price, expiration period, description, term, payment status, or document type is appropriate for a particular business or jurisdiction.
7. Backups and data loss
JobFrame is local-first. You are responsible for creating external backups and protecting exported files. Clearing app data, uninstalling the app, losing or damaging a device, storage failure, operating-system changes, or user error may result in data loss. JobFrame does not guarantee recovery of records that were not backed up.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use JobFrame to create fraudulent records, misrepresent services, conceal illegal activity, violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights, send unlawful marketing, distribute malware, or interfere with the operation of the app or website.
9. Intellectual property
JobFrame's software, branding, design, documentation, website content, and bundled visual assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of JobFrame. You retain responsibility for and rights you lawfully hold in the business and customer content you enter.
10. Third-party services
Android, email, messaging, storage, social, cloud, printing, accounting, and other third-party services operate under their own terms. JobFrame is not responsible for their availability, security, delivery, fees, policy changes, or handling of information after you choose to use them.
11. Updates and changes
JobFrame may add, change, suspend, or remove features. Database migrations and compatibility work are tested, but you should create an external backup before installing significant updates or participating in testing.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobFrame is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, fitness for a particular purpose, legal compliance, or permanent data availability.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobFrame and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business-interruption damages; lost profits; lost opportunities; lost data; customer disputes; regulatory penalties; or third-party service failures arising from use of the product.
14. Termination
You may stop using JobFrame at any time. Access to future hosted services may be suspended or terminated for misuse, security threats, nonpayment, or violation of applicable terms, with additional terms provided before such services launch.
15. Changes to these Terms
The effective date will be updated when these Terms change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
